Feb 27, 2013 - All you need to do is go on the AMD website and download the auto detect driver. Then it will automatically update your sound driver as well as.
I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.
I suggest you to update the Display drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.
Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:
a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
b. Expand Display Adapter and Select Graphic.
c. Right-click on the Graphic and click on Update driver software.
d. Restart the computer and check.

the sound is completely non-functional, and the graphics will not do some more advanced things that my older laptop will do. for the sake of the users, i have a console output of all my hardware:
